COACHES CLINICS:
We like to start out with the Coaches Clinic first before we work with the players. We like to spend 1 ½ hr and go over our teaching methods and drills. We teach the coaches the same thing we teach the players the fundamentals of baseball. Also you get the "Batter UP 17" Coaches Handbook "Keep It Simple". The handbook is full of many things geared to assist the youth volunteer coach. From how to organize a practice, to how to deal with parents and the many drills that we use to create the proper techniques for baseball. We recommend making these mandatory for your potential coaches for the cities we visit for the up-coming season. Our goal as a staff is to be consistent in what we teach and should be a goal for your city after we leave. And yes, you will get some hands on experience too.

TEAM PRACTICES:
Want to spice up your practices? Have myself and one of my staff coaches for 2 hrs. We will bring 2 SwingAways and 2 Instructo Swings with hittings nets for hitting. We will bring our specialty bats the hammers and the ZingBats. Let us work with your pitchers on warm-up routines and how to increase arm strength, velocity and balance. We will have golden glove competition with the winner receiving an award. And we also like to give out baseball cards to kids who show good hustle. Let us show you a fun way to teach sliding where they won't want to stop. Call for pricing..

CITY TRY-OUTS:
Tired of the complaints your association is having about try-outs and how they are not fair. Well, call us and we will come out and assist you with your Try-outs if you dare to be fair. Call for details and pricing.

LESSONS

Fundamental Baseball Skills are emphasized. I work with infielders on footwork and throwing mechanics. Catchers receive instruction on blocking balls, footwork, and throwing. Outfielders focus on pre-pitch movement, catching, first step quickness, routes to fly balls, and throwing mechanics. Hitting instruction includes grip, hands, stance, stride, swing, balance, and power. Pitchers receive instruction on pitching mechanics, grips and balance. We use Video and Photography to analyze and monitor progress as we form new habits.
